Lemon Myrtle is an extremely adaptable Australian plant. Attractive creamy-white flowers during summer and into autumn on a slow growing small tree or large shrub that has attractive dark green foliage that is often red in colour when young.

The Lemon Myrtle foliage is enhance by the magnificently strong citrus aroma that it emits.

An ideal plant for all sized gardens. When planted close together.

Lemon Myrtle leaves cooked are a well known Bush Tucker flavour. It can also be used in aroma therapy and perfumes.



Care


Requiring a full sun to part shade position in a protected location. Protect from frosts when young.

Plant in a moist, well drained soil that is rich in organic matter.

Prune well after flowering to maintain a dense busy habit. Fertilize with a complete balanced slow release fertilizer for best results.
