Kiwi Fruit 'Haywood' is known for its superior flavour and highly nutritious value. The male does not bear fruit, yet is required for pollination of the female. One male will pollinate up to six females. Both sexes are need to produce fruit.
Pick them fresh for eating, or great in the recipes below. Cut the fruit in half, then scrape out and eat the flesh.
Plant in full sun in a well drained soil and apply water regularly to maintain fruit size and quality. Prune during winter to remove of fruiting wood and broken canes.
