Boysenberries are a deep purple coloured berry, that is produced on a vigorous trialingvine. They produce aromatic, sweet tasting fruit during summer.
Ideal for use as a fresh fruit or cooking into pies, tarts and jams. Can be frozen for use when not in season.
Apply rich organic matter to retain moisture and curb weed growth. Canes should be pruned to ground level during the winter period; tie new canes to trellis, fences or any suitable support. Water regularly when fruit is formed, during the summer.
